There are certain things that I use every week for the heating and AC repair business.
I have hoses, clamps, and other pieces and parts delivered to the shop every Monday Morning by a company that fulfills the order and ships in 2 days. I place my order on Thursday and I could have Saturday shipping, but I choose to get everything on Monday instead. After my employees have the weekend off, everyone’s ready to get started and the first thing we do on Monday is put all of the stock away. The delivery guy brought the order on Monday and I quickly noticed that there were two space heaters missing. The space heaters were for a customer that lives over on green street. The lady ordered the space heaters when she found out that the old ones in her home were no longer viable. They were definitely a fire hazard. I happen to be one of the people that got to look at the space heaters and I was surprised that the woman never had her house burned down. There were a couple of additional items missing from the order, but the space heaters were the biggest problem. I immediately called the company that fulfills the orders for the heating and AC Service. The customer service guy was really nice. He said there was a problem with the software that caused the issue. Unfortunately, we weren’t their only customers with the same problem. He offered to send the items overnight and he also discounted the price that I had to pay for the equipment that was missing from the order.
