I can’t remember the last time I felt so bad. I had a fever, and chills were going through my whole body. I knew it was hot outside, but I couldn’t get enough hot. My wife came up to check on me and give me chicken broth. I fell asleep before she left, though. After an hour, I woke up and took a look around. A small space boiler was the first thing I saw. It was sitting next to the bed. My wife put the space boiler in a place where it wouldn’t touch anything but would still give me a lot of heat when I was cold. I had just woken up when she came back, and she asked how I felt. I don’t know if it was the medicine she gave me or the space heater, but I felt warmer, and I also pulled her into bed with me. I told her how much I liked everything she had done for me over the last two afternoons, and she smiled. When someone cares about you no matter what, it makes you feel special.
