When my husbandy & I first moved into this apartment we realized that there were a lot of things we wanted to fix.
It was going to be an investment dwelling that had potential to be great.
However, it was going to take a lot of difficult labor to bring our new residents into the modern era. One of the things that consistently bothered us was the uneven air temperature as you moved from room to room throughout the house. It seemed like every space had a unusual air temperature & air quality contained within it. This was despite using a central heating, cooling, & ventilation system which should have gave an even & predictable air quality throughout the entire house. One of the rooms that perpetually baffled us was the apartment office. It always felt harshly cold in the winters & ridiculously sizzling in the Summers. My pal and I could not figure out why the room was so extremely unusual from the air quality in the rest of the house. It took us an embarrassing amount of time to realize that the apartment office was an addition that was never connected to the centralized heating, cooling, & air quality control system.Then, we needed to decide if we would like to connect to the Heating & Air Conditioning system to the satellite space or find an alternative Heating & Air Conditioning method. Eventually, we resolved ourselves to installing a mini split ductless heating & cooling system to service the room. Now, we have air temperature control in every space of the apartment without having to retroactively fit HVAC ducts into the walls.
