For some reason, our new air conditioning cover that we got back in the summer will not fit on top of our exterior A/C unit.
It’s the most annoying thing, since we are supposed to get a huge snowstorm tonight.
I really wanted to get the new high efficiency air conditioning system covered up before the snow hits. I have no idea why in the world our HVAC company would have sent out this tiny air conditioning cover for our huge A/C system. It’s not like they don’t know what unit we ended up purchasing! I mean, after all, they are the ones who installed it for us back when we purchased it in the summer. I do have to say that the new high efficiency air conditioning system works like a dream. We had the best indoor air quality in our house that we have ever had this past summer. And that is why I would like to protect our A/C unit from the elements during the winter with all of the cold temperatures that we are going to be getting. However, when I went out to put on our A/C cover that the HVAC company gave to us when we purchased the unit, I realized that the cover was just way too small. Unfortunately for me, I have waited until the night before a huge snow and ice storm is supposed to hit to try and cover up the A/C unit. Of course, now the HVAC company is closed and I can’t go over there to get a replacement. I am just really irritated with the whole thing at this point.
