Six weeks ago, I used up the last of my cheap air filters and I updated the box in my closet with a box of HEPA filters.

  • Since that time, I have become a believer in HEPA a/c filters; they actually do toil better, and I actually do breathe better.

Now that I am using the HEPA a/c filters, though, I am starting to want nice indoor air quality even more than I did before. You can’t get too much of a nice thing, right? So, I started to look online and I asked the dust sensitivity dentist what the next step is after HEPA filters. The dentist said I might want to look into getting a whole home media air cleaner. Wow, just the sound of that sounded care about the price would be astronomical, so I had my doubts. But then I started looking online; true, an air purification system is an investment, but it is not as costly as I expected, or as complicated, either. It turns out that the air purification system works in conjunction with your heating and cooling unit. While your air gets cooled or heated – mostly cooling because I live in the south – it can also be purified. The air can get pumped through an air filter that detachs smoke, pet dander, bacteria, and allergens before it comes out through the air vents. I assume it makes nice sense to use a UV filter along with it. If I understand correctly, there are other air filters, but the UV air filter is the best. The UV light is used to kill the reproductive systems of bacteria, and even viruses, to get them gone from your life.
