One of my first tasks was easily working at a HVAC business, but I had no formal training, so obviously I couldn’t be a heating and A/C professional.

Which was perfectly great by me, because I hated the method of driving around to people’s homes.

I worked at a desk and took calls for the air conditioning dealer. I was there for purchaser support and to schedule any appointments, or sign people up for any HVAC service plans they were interested in. I also would talk about the promotions every one of us were having at the time, and having basic know-how on heating and A/C equipment. Although I was originally dreading having my first task, while I was still in school for that matter, I ended up easily enjoying my task. I easily found myself looking forward to heading over to the air conditioning contractor after school to begin my work, but that is pretty precious for a task… And unluckily, I was only able to toil there for a year, because the air conditioning contractor ended up going out of business, due to bigger HVAC corporations in the area driving them out. I tried getting a task at another location, but most of these places were looking for someone with experience in the HVAC work field, and for the most area all I had was talking to customers. I was crestfallen to lose my first task, especially 1 that I actually enjoyed, and even nowadays, I would still consider it to be 1 of my number one tasks of all time.
