I never understood all of the benefits to owning central cooling.

Despite the begging of our family, I only gave in because of an attractive promotion offered by a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C company. We required a new furnace and packaging in the upgrade of a cooling equipment was pretty inexpensive. Because we were buying both the heating and cooling plan at the same time, I got a hefty discount on a warranty and maintenance program, since the weather in our state is chilly and wet for the majority of the year, I doubted we’d run the cooling system often at all. I’ve since realized that I use the cooling plan even when the outside temperature is very mild. I simply operate the fan and it helps to circulate the air, keeping it fresher and more pure. Because the cooling system allows us to keep the windows shut, there’s fewer complications with dust, pollen and exhaust fumes. Plus, the cooling system features a very advanced filtration plan that traps a great deal of airborne contaminants. The condo is now much cleaner and our indoor air conditions has significantly improved. The cooling plan is great for helping all of us sleep better at night and I’m absolutely more productive when I wake up. We no longer need to worry over mangle caused by excess humidity, such as condensation on the windows, or mold growth and warping of wood furnishings. The central cooling plan was a great investment, and because of an excellent SEER rating, it doesn’t cost all that much to operate.
