My colleagues at the heating shop & I always enjoyed goofing around, but it is regularly a nice way to take the edge off a bad or tiring day.
- It is also a good time to discover more about the people I task with & just recently 1 of us became the father of a baby girl… Occasionally when the work calls aren’t coming in fast and furious we will make silly bets, all of us never bet large money & it is regularly so much, Last week I won the bet; This caller wanted to find out about the double offer on the heating system for sale & the oil furnace filter on sale; Before I could celebrate my wins, the manager of the lake house comfort company called myself and others to the office, and he wanted to discuss a contract we had just gotten.
It was going to be an extremely large project since we were going to task on installing a central heating method in an office building that was over 10 stories high. The current Heating, Ventilation, & A/C was a boiler & the air duct was going to be extensive & very grueling to install. By the time we were done every other heating professional had left to attend to various other tasks. The next lake house I was going to needed a dial temperature control tune-up & a boiler repair, however while I was there I realized that the homeowner had a legitimately dirty oil furnace filter. It was easily causing too many complications with the oil furnace, and my numerous years of hands-on experience had taught myself and others so much more about heating than any school ever would. Working at the heating company is something I love doing but most afternoons I cannot wait to go home, rest with my partner Anne in front of the fireplace & watch the evening slip away.
