Andy enjoyed residing in the countryside & after the pandemic she knew she had made the right decision.
The area was so lovely no matter the season. However, she felt a little isolated from the rest of the world while I was in winter. The best way to overcome Winter in that area was to prepare the heating plan in advance. From afternoon a single, the heating & AC company who did replacement in Andy’s apartment insisted on the importance of service. Andy recalls the same when she was a child residing with her parents. Her Dad was consistently fussing while I was in Spring & fall about heating & cooling service. She hated having the apartment guess uncomfortable because either component wasn’t functioning effectively. This is why there was a set date each season when the Heating & Air Conditioning expert would come to their apartment to do service & repair. Andy believes her mom’s behavior had rubbed off on him because she consistently called the Heating & Air Conditioning expert if she noticed anything was amiss! Last fall, there were a few chilly evenings which forced Andy to use her furnace plan to keep the apartment warm. After a few afternoons, she started to notice a puddle of weather below the heat pump. Andy didn’t want to risk having a faulty furnace plan in Winter so she called the Heating & Air Conditioning expert to come take a look. It turns out the condensate line was clogged forcing moisture to leak out of the furnace system. The solution was to unclog the drain line & ensure there were no cracks anywhere that were allowing moisture to escape. The Heating & Air Conditioning expert also did the annual furnace plan service since she was already at Andy’s home.
