It’s often baffling to me that people are considered professionals when they absolutely cannot complete the only job they should be capable of.
This realization came to me years ago when we attempted to drop off some trash at a local dump…
Only to be told that their trash scale was broken. As we drove away, we laughed heartily. Isn’t that the only part of your business that actually matters? How do you consider yourself a viable dump if you can’t do the one thing that brings capital into your business? Well, this confusion has only persisted in my lifetime. Recently, I had to come to the conclusion that the people who built my house had no idea what they were doing. It became obvious when I started noticing where they placed the air vents throughout the entire house. You see you, we have a central heating, cooling, and air quality control system that supports all of our indoor air quality and air temperature measures. This means, we have to rely on an extensive ductwork system to transport expensive indoor treated air from the air handling devices to every room. As you might imagine, the air vents are an important component of this error handling layout. Unfortunately, the contractor who designed this house obviously didn’t consider where the air vents should be placed. In every room we struggle to fit any furniture without blocking all of the air vents that lead to the air ductwork. Either we arrange every room in a way that prohibits air flow… Or we completely dismiss the principles of Fung shui.
