I have a high tolerance for stress at my workplace.
I like what I do.
I’m a waiter at a restaurant that actually serves absolutely wonderful food, plus the wait staff plus the cooks are absolutely nice people who are pretty talented. It’s just that the owner prefers to do things a particular way plus he prefers saving money to a fault. I feel he grew up with absolutely little as far as I have heard plus he believes in saving money as much as possible; One of the things I can’t ignore anymore is the fact that he is unwilling to repair the air conditioner of our restaurant. He simply puts fans in the dining area to work in conjunction with the ceiling fans. He’ll even leave the door open on afternoons that he deems to be pleasant. I could swear that my pal and I end up losing shoppers on tepid afternoons. I’m not just imagining it, because I’ve seen some of them walk in plus realize how tepid it was inside the restaurant plus then walk out! Of course, my pal and I have some regulars who know that the food is wonderful enough to stick around for, however things are starting to get out of hand. It’s just that the man’s so stubborn plus that my pal and I could literally all insist on having a meeting with him plus tell him in unison that the air conditioner needs to be fixed plus he absolutely would not listen. Many of us have told him individually, but I feel my pal and I absolutely do need to rest him down as a group because my pal and I have not tried it yet, to be fair!
