I’ve not been doing right by my HVAC equipment. That’s on me and I’m really going to change my behavior now that we are back to needing air conditioning. Well, we’re not quite all the way back as we’re still enjoying the Spring weather. For us, that means highs in the upper 70’s and lows in the 60’s. It’s still that perfect combination where the windows and door are all still open to all of this fresh air. I love to hear the wind in the trees again as the leaves are back and green growth is everywhere. We haven’t yet cranked the air conditioning. But I kicked off my new HVAC awareness campaign by getting the HVAC professionals out here early to do the HVAC maintenance. I wanted to get the air conditioning tune up done early in order to start this year out right when it came to the heating and cooling equipment. I hate to admit it but I’ve been a bit slack here the last year. I had some surgery that sort of knocked me off my feet. I think all that healing inside the central air conditioning of my house led to me dropping the ball a bit. And that’s nobody’s fault as much as it’s something that has to change. And I added us to the HVAC service plan so we will always be early when it comes to the seasonal maintenance we need. I’m glad to be back on my feet again and looking forward to paying much better attention to the residential HVAC.
