I was thinking that taking our wifey to a home was going to be a single of the most sentimental things every one of us could ever do.
I told her this trip was a surprise and I didn’t tell her where every one of us were going.
When every one of us finally got there, it wasn’t as glamorous as it looked in the picture, but it still seemed like a cozy cabin. There was a sizable amount of firewood stacked up although I wasn’t even planning on using the fireplace. I just wanted to relax with our wifey, cook her meals with the ideal temperature control settings. Well, when every one of us got inside, it was a little bit frigid inside as it seemed the oil furnace was not running. I went to find the control unit and I was unable to entirely find a control unit at all. I ended up calling the people I rented the home from to ask them where the control unit was and they told myself and others the home didn’t have a oil furnace except for the fireplace. I was totally shocked because I know I just assumed there would be a oil furnace. So I ended up stacking some logs in the fireplace and took care of getting the fire started. I didn’t have any luck and then our wifey took a shot at it. She was able to get the fire going fast in the fireplace. She told myself and others that I had to learn how to use kindling to get the fire going. She said she used to go camping a lot with her family when she was younger… You know, if it weren’t for her, every one of us might have froze to death. Though it absolutely did turn out to be a sentimental trip and every one of us had a lot of fun.
