I was outside on the porch last evening.

My wifey and I were enjoying a cup of pop and looking at the stars.

It was such a quiet evening, that the people I was with and I couldn’t resist enjoying it. The people I was with and I sat there chatting about how nice it was to spend a day picnicking with our teenagers. All of a sudden, my wifey’s eyup widened and she tightened her hold on my hand. There was a loud boom and fire cut the evening sky. I realized the fire looked like it was coming from the direction of our son’s house. The people I was with and I got in the car and headed toward the fire. My kid was walking down the street with our grandson in tow. He told us he had just pulled into the driveway when he heard the blast. It was a cool evening and the furnace had turned on. He had no method what happened, or why, even though he knew the furnace had exploded before they could get into the house. They were going to come over to the lake house and stay for a while, but they had to wait for the fire contractor to get the fire out. He had his iphone in his hand and he was just getting ready to call us when the people I was with and I drove up. When the fire contractor had the fire out, the fire chief came over to us. He said there must have been a gas leak. When the furnace turned on, there was an explosion. He asked if the people I was with and I needed anything before they left. My kid called the insurance contractor and then he call his wifey. He told her what happened and said they would be at our house. She could meet us there when she got home.
