For several years now, the topic of nice indoor air quality has been on lots of lips and in lots of articles, but the topic is now back in the news again because of viruses and such.
I decided a while back to stop using those cheap a/c air filters and started buying HEPA filters, so I thought I was nice to go as far as having nice indoor air quality is worried.
But now, I see that Heating and Air Conditioning companies, and even physicians, are starting to propose getting air purification systems. I began doing a little bit of online research about whole home media air cleaners, and I just don’t know if I want to spend that much currency on the next Heating and Air Conditioning gadget. I got a digital temperature control the hour they were available back in the day. Everyone claimed those temperature controls were so much better. They are better, but not fantastic. Then, a few years back, the smart temperature controls became all the rage, so I got one of those. I do confess that the smart temperature control is amazing! But do I actually need a whole home air purification system? It turns out that I know someone who has one in their townhouse. She invited myself and others over to see if I could tell any difference in my breathing quality. I expected to recognize no different – I mean how can you tell a home with an air purification system if you have nothing to compare it to. To surprise me, though, she cooked fish before I got there! All she did was cook the fish, and when I told her I didn’t know if the air purification system was all that and a container of chips, she pulled that fish off the stove and said, “Did you know I cooked fish?” There was no fishy smell at all! The whole home air purification system was better than I thought it would be!
