In the Winter months, the weather can be truly chilly and the snow can get intense. It is best to system camping trips around the months with the least snowfall. If you are planning on staying overnight, it is best to bring a portable heater; A campfire will keep you hot for a while, however a portable space heating system is much more reliable when it comes to keeping you hot while you sleep, however during some parts of the year, you will be good with simply a heavy blanket and a tent to block the wind; But sometimes, a portable space heating system is a truly important area of camping in this region. I found our portable space heating system on sale last summer. I was hesitant to buy it because even on sale, the heating system was quite extravagant. All of us love to sleep in the tent with a ton of blankets anyways, so I was wondering if the heating system was even necessary. On the first camping trip of the season, I was pumped to see how well the portable heating system would hot us throughout the night; Most of our friends have portable space oil heating systems and say that they are worth every dime, and now I think for myself that they are right!
