In life, there are definitely times when money gets especially tight.

It’s just a normal part of it.

I was able to learn this early on when I was living a bit too large. My spending entirely exceeded our saving and when the economy started falling, it was a truly bitter pill to swallow. That experience taught me a good amount about having a life that is both sufficient and bendy. I’m typically prepared to slash spending and just go with the necessities. However, I will typically have my HVAC comfort. It is honestly essential to me and my family. That doesn’t mean that I am not easily ready to sacrifice a bit of HVAC comfort in order to save some cash. But there is a line of comfort I honestly cannot cross. Where every one of us lives, it’s sizzling and humid throughout the hot season. I’m all for doing whatever every one of us can to keep the HVAC expenses as low as possible. That doesn’t mean that every one of us are going to turn it off either. First, I’m not willing to fight the mold & mildew that will easily overtake our dwelling without familiar HVAC cooling. That’s correct, the HVAC is also balancing the humidity levels to keep that terrible monster at bay. I will also make sure that I have enough money to keep the HVAC appliance in tip top shape. I paid a ton of money for this HVAC appliance to get 25 years out of it. That’s not going to happen if I choose to cut corners and don’t get the annual preventive maintenance taken care of. Like I said, I’m typically up for adapting to economic dips. It’s just that where the HVAC appliance is concerned, there is a certain limit to what I will actually do without.
