I particularly had a taxing understanding why my father chose to freeze everybody in the Winter and let us all roast in the summer time weeks.
The people I was with and I had the a/c system for cooling purposes and we had the oil furnace that was meant to keep us hot enough.
The only time he would crank up the oil furnace was when somebody got sick. Well, eventually I told my mother that we could honestly hot up the condo by using a humidifier, and one of my friends honestly told myself and others about that and said that it saved his household sizable cash on the energy bills. So between my mother and I, we saved up for a humidifier. When we finally started using the humidifier in the winter, the condo abruptly warmed up, however of course my father had to question why we were using this high-priced humidifier, and how did we get the cash to afford it. I’m ecstatic my mother defended our decision to save up the cash to invest in a humidifier. She told my father that the difference in temperature was great and we would be saving a lot of cash on the heating bills. My father was surprised at how it felt more comfortable in the house, however then he wanted to lower the control component even more so we would honestly save. My mother drew the line though and said the reason why we saved for this humidifier was to make the condo more comfortable without raising the cost of the energy bills, however from that point moving forward, we were more comfortable in the condo thanks to that humidifier.
