My daughter is 12 years old so she enjoys spending time with her friends from school! Almost every weekend, I’m either driving her to a friend’s house or a single of her friend’s is going to see our house… I’ve always appreciated the friends she brings over because as 12 year olds, they are certainly sweet and they can entertain themselves.

All I have to do is supervise and keep them fed, but however, last weekend, she invited a new acquaintance over and I suppose it will be the last time every one of us have her over, she was dropped off by her nanny, and I was given a list of food items she was not allowed to eat… The list was so long and I didn’t think what I was going to feed her for supper.

Then, I could not please my daughter’s acquaintance with the temperature control settings. She kept complaining about how cold it was inside. Our temperature control is always set to 73 degrees while in the Wintertide because it’s efficient and saves us currency on the utility bill. If every one of us let the temperature control run any higher than 73 degrees then our utility bill gets too fancy! Well, I decided to make an exception and turn the temperature up to 68 degrees so her acquaintance didn’t recognize too cold. 10 minutes later, she was complaining about how tepid it was. I dropped the temperature down to 68 degrees, and she still wasn’t cheerful. I don’t think how her parents keep her comfortable in their own home.
