It’s been a good life. I have enjoyed my career and where I live very much. My parents and siblings have been a constant, supportive presence in my life all these years. However, it’s just been me and a few dogs over this life. I just didn’t meet the person or haven’t met the person I thought I would by now. But that happens to some people. For me, that has led to a lot of bachelor apartments with poor HVAC. This has not been a part of my life that I have enjoyed. However, it just didn’t make a great deal of sense, financially or otherwise, to be a homeowner. So, I just put up with those underpowered, inefficient heating & cooling systems. That is until now. With the mini house boom, I started to consider finding a place that was the size to fit just me. While I didn’t need the mobility of a trailered mini house, I liked the affordability of a very small living space. Plus, I would actually own it and be able to have some equity in where I lived. An uncle sold me a plot of land for at or below cost. Then, I put up a mini house of sorts. One of the things that I love the most about this place is the HVAC unit. It’s a mini split heating & cooling system. Or sometimes referred to as a ductless HVAC unit. It’s great, super efficient and just makes my new place perfect in any season. And, it even has a remote control that I can sync to my phone. Will wonders ever cease?
