I had a major issue with my oil furnace a few months ago, then the thing was though, that I had no clue that I certainly had a major issue with the oil furnace! The problem was that my oil furnace was in my basement, then i have an unfinished basement, so I never go down there except to arena old junk in this cement cubby hole in the wall for storage.
It had been months since I been down there. Then a single day I realised my heating was not working as it should. It seemed love the air vents were pumping weak heat out of them. I let this go for about a month before certainly going down the basement to check out the oil furnace. I thought it was just myself and others imagining things! When I went down the basement I found that there was oil that had leaked all over the basement floor! It had blatantly been leaking for about a month or so without myself and others knowing, and right away I turned off the oil furnace plus called my local heating, ventilation as well as A/C corporation to send out a certified heating, ventilation as well as A/C specialist to repair the oil furnace. They had to do an emergency Heating plus Air Conditioning service call which costed myself and others double! I needed them out there the same day cause of how awful the oil furnace leak had got. This taught myself and others to in future regularly go down the basement plus check that oil furnace instantly if I ever notice something is wrong with my heating again.
