I always loved going to grandma’s house especially in the summer.
She had an amazing creek behind the house and humongous trees all around the house that kept the air super fresh.
My cousins and I loved playing hide and seek in the house when we were younger and we hung out at the creek with our friends when we were older. This particular summer day, however, the cooling system had broken down and thus the house felt like an oven plus the air was murky. We thought it would have been a broken down boiler. We contacted the cooling workman to check on the a/c system. which needed a well deserved a/c care plan and a few a/c repairs in order to increase air purification within the house. The air conditioning install had been done a couple of years ago, but the dial thermostat was not working. The boiler had broken down and the technician proposed we get a new furnace so he could proceed with the boiler installation which was to take approximately 5 days. Since the boiler was broken down, the electric heating system was not working so the cooling representative recommended we purchase a gas heater from the heating company to help with indoor comfort. While the installation was taking a longer time, I decided to switch on the portable indoor air cleaning system to help with the air quality in the house as my grandma has asthma. It is a good thing we were not fitting the commercial air conditioning system it would have taken us longer than a day. My grandma was happy to still have fresh air while waiting for the installation to be completed.
