Last night, the night time temperatures only dropped to 82 degrees.
It was almost 100 during the day, and it didn’t change much after the sun went down.
It was extremely warm and humid, even after the sun completely set. The thermostat temperature was set to 74 degrees when I went to bed, but I woke up in the middle of the night with beads of sweat on the back of my neck. I decided to get up and turn down the temperature so the air conditioner would run more frequently. The thermostat for the air conditioner is located in the living room. There are a lot of windows in the living room and I have a great view of my neighbor’s backyard. I couldn’t see much at all since it was dark outside, but I saw a flashing light in the backyard when I was adjusting the thermostat temperature. I walked over to the door so I could see more carefully. I saw the neighbor kid sneaking in the window. It was 2 in the morning and he was climbing up the trellis to go into an upstairs window. I didn’t say anything to the kid, but this morning I had coffee with my neighbor and I told her that I saw something peculiar in her yard last night. When I told her that I saw her son sneaking into the house, I thought she was going to lose her mind. She told me that he has been grounded for three weeks due to his grades. She did not know that he was sneaking out of his room at night.
