I’m finally at a point where I suppose my life has gotten somewhat settled.

Earlier this year I went through a number of life transitions when I exited a toxic relationship and moved out on my own.

Everything changed for me on the day that I packed that tote and left for good. For starters, I have not had my own location to live and I have been staying with friends this entire time. Secondly, my finances have been bad because my ex owed me a lot of cash that I will never get back. Lastly, I have had a number of fluctuations to my regular utility bills and routine expenses every single month. One of the greatest and most frustrating fluctuations to my spending has been paying for a storage unit. Since I do not have a location to put all my belongings, everything got shoved into storage for the time being… Now, I find myself routinely driving out to gather necessary items as the seasons keep on changing… I had just been out to the storage unit to grab a few jackets and coats thanks to the changing outdoor air temperature. The temperature has been going through quite a few fluctuations as we are slipping into the Winter season these past few freezing weeks. I have been trying to keep up with the suddenly fluctuating uneven changing temperatures inside and out, however it’s been a challenge with so many of my clothing items stashed elsewhere. Just when I finally thought I had enough gear to last through the fall season, our central heating device stopped laboring at my friend’s lake household where I’m staying. The oil heating device is down, and the indoor air temperature is too. Forget what I said about having all of my freezing temperature necessities… Now I am headed back to the storage unit to pick up my space heating devices.
