For me, it’s the most annoying when we have a family dinner planned or some kind of a holiday celebration.
Being married to an HVAC technician isn’t always as easy as you think it should be. Whenever I first got married to my husband, I thought that it was going to be an easy life. My husband is an HVAC technician and he works strange hours a lot of the time. He’s always having to work nights and weekends, and the HVAC company where he works is always loading up his schedule with extra hours. I think it’s because so many of the HVAC customers like my husband and so they call up the company and request him to come do their furnace and air conditioning repairs for them. He says that while it’s flattering to have people call and actually request him out of all of the other HVAC technicians, sometimes it can really get annoying when he just needs a night off from doing heating and cooling work. For me, it’s the most annoying when we have a family dinner planned or some kind of a holiday celebration. It seems like it just never fails that my husband gets a call from the HVAC company so that he can come into work because of a heating or cooling emergency that someone in the community is having. That kind of thing really drives me crazy, but of course there isn’t anything that I can do about it. It’s definitely true that being married to an HVAC technician is not the easiest thing in the world! It’s nice being able to get my air conditioning repaired whenever I want, but the rest of the time it’s definitely hard to deal with.
