I don’t usually enjoy starting a new job at an unusual corporation.
I have been lucky to get along with most of the coworkers I have met over the past few months, but there are always working environments poisoned by one or more peoples’ toxicity. Occasionally you have amazing coworkers, but your management team is overbearing or expects too much work output in shorter chunks of time. I’ve been in certain situations where I was forced into overtime hours without overtime pay. If the company is transitory plus shudders its doors, changes its name, plus moves to a brand new city—it can be taxing to get reimbursed for the fraudulent interest plus acquire whatever payment compensation the company was withholding. But there are some chances were tiny and your average concerns related to where you’re working can usually make certain work environments less comfortable than others. I’m used to being in offices with an air conditioner that is usually running plus having a jacket or jacket with myself and others at all times to get moderate if I need to. I have also worked in sites that were so hot I had to dress accordingly to get a tiny amount of relief. At this point the office I’m working in has an Heating plus Air Conditioning issue, but nothing cares about what most would expect. Both of us have a package style heating and cooling method plus the entire component plus enclosure is on my rooftop. Since our office is on the top floor, we can hear the package a/cs for the whole building running during the morning. You get more or less used to the loud droning sound, but it can also be a big source of distraction when you’re trying to focus on your work tasks.
