Last winter, the people I was with and I made the decision to go on a trip to a cottage in the woods. It is pretty frigid up north plus a furnace or an alternative heating idea is required 9 weeks out of the year. That is, if you don’t want to freeze to death. I have to bring extra blankets plus make sure I pack plenty of Winter clothes such as jackets, scarves, hats, plus gloves as well. The two of us rented this cottage for 1 week, after the long drive, I just wanted to get into the heated cottage plus take a nap! Once I walked through the door, the inside air felt as frigid as the outside air. I hastily walked to the control component plus the display learn that the temperature was 53 degrees inside! The “on” switch was turned on however the furnace was not running. So, either the control component was broken or the furnace was. I made a phone call to the cottage owner plus explained the issue! She called out an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman however they weren’t able to come until the next afternoon. I didn’t know how the people I was with and I were going to get through until the next afternoon. The two of us had no space heaters, no fireplace, or any alternative heat source. The owner gave to pay for a hotel room for us until the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman came out to repair the heating problem the next afternoon. It wasn’t what I had planned, however a great evening’s sleep in a comfy bed plus with a working Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C idea was sounding pretty great at the time since the people I was with and I had such a long drive up. The two of us finally arrived at our hotel room, plus the only thing I was thinking was “ please let this furnace work correctly!” I walked in the room plus checked out the control component plus it learn that it was a comfortable 79 degrees inside… Finally, I could relax plus take a shower plus get some sleep plus sizzling up from being in such frigid northern Winter weather.
