The HVAC system at our church is on the blink again, and nobody seems to know what to do about it this time.
We have been having issues with the HVAC system for the past several years and it’s really beginning to get old, if you ask me. I mean, we as a church congregation pay good money to a local commercial HVAC company so that they can take care of our heating and cooling system. However, it just doesn’t seem like these guys are doing their jobs. Or maybe it’s just that they don’t really know what to do. There is definitely something wrong with the heating and cooling system, but maybe it’s just a mystery to all of us at church and to the HVAC technicians that we use. I know that we pay for them to come out every couple of months to do an air conditioning tune up during the summer or a heating tune up during the winter. They are supposed to do preventative maintenance for us, but for some reason, the preventative maintenance doesn’t seem to be preventing enough! The weather is heating up now and it’s really getting to the point where it gets really hot inside of the church and I hate that. I can’t concentrate if it’s hot in the church and I don’t think that anyone else can either. I don’t know if we need to completely replace the whole HVAC system or what, but something definitely needs to be done to get the air conditioning back on track before the weather gets any hotter.
