Now that it’s a month later, we’re experiencing some cool temperatures and I’m torn on what to do
I had my HVAC system serviced a month ago because the warmer weather was coming and staying. I found myself turning off my furnace and opening my doors and windows for air instead of needing heat. The temperature was so moderate that I didn’t need air conditioning either. When I don’t need to run my furnace or air conditioner, this is my signal to call the local HVAC company to schedule my biannual HVAC appointment. I don’t like to have my HVAC system serviced too early because I don’t like to switch between the furnace and air conditioner if I don’t have to. I also don’t like having my HVAC system serviced too late either, because that’s when it’s the most difficult to get on the schedule. I feel like a lot of homeowners wait until the last minute to have their HVAC equipment serviced and that’s when things start breaking down. When the HVAC professional came to service my HVAC system, he said that everything looked good. Everything was running properly and nothing looked out of sorts. I began running my air conditioner without any problems. Now that it’s a month later, we’re experiencing some cool temperatures and I’m torn on what to do. My thermostat says it’s 65 degrees inside my house! My air conditioner isn’t running because the temperature is already so low. I don’t want to turn the heat on again because I just had everything serviced and I don’t want to ruin anything. I don’t know how much longer I can stand the cold temperature though!
