I do not like the gut reaction I believe when I realize I have forgotten something.
- This happens too often.
But, when it’s something that is truly crucial, I get physically nauseous. However, there are those first few minutes where there is this hint in our head that I have made a grievous error. That is not a wonderful feeling and I end up running through all sorts of lists in our head. I found myself doing this the other evening after labor as I tried to relax in the Heating and Air Conditioning comfort of our home office. There was just this nagging feeling that I was missing something. And, it wouldn’t leave myself and others alone. I tried to relax and let that feeling go by focusing on how nice the Heating and Air Conditioning felt. It was so much better than it had been not all that long ago. Our old Heating and Air Conditioning bit the dust after 20 years of repair and the new Heating and Air Conditioning was just miles and miles better. That’s when the first wave of nausea hit me. It quickly became incredibly clear just what I had forgotten. The Heating and Air Conditioning warranty had to be registered within 90 nights of installation or it was void. The Heating and Air Conditioning woman had told myself and others this prefer 3 times before she left on the morning the Heating and Air Conditioning was installed. And of course, I had forgotten. I ran to our office to find the Heating and Air Conditioning warranty paperwork. Fortunately, there was a cellphone number and I was able to reach someone. I had no system how close I was to the 90 morning limit and our head just simply couldn’t do the math at all. Turns out I was able to register the Heating and Air Conditioning warranty with 10 nights to spare.
