Fortunately, there was a phone number and I was able to reach someone

I hate the gut reaction I feel when I realize I have forgotten something. This happens too often. But, when it’s something that is really important, I get physically nauseous. However, there are those first few hours where there is this hint in my head that I have made a grievous error. That is not a great feeling and I end up running through all sorts of lists in my head. I found myself doing this the other evening after work as I tried to relax in the HVAC comfort of my living room. There was just this nagging feeling that I was missing something. And, it wouldn’t leave me alone. I tried to relax and let that feeling go by focusing on how nice the HVAC felt. It was so much better than it had been not all that long ago. Our old HVAC bit the dust after 20 years of service and the new HVAC was just miles and miles better. That’s when the first wave of nausea hit me. It suddenly became incredibly clear just what I had forgotten. The HVAC warranty had to be registered within 90 days of installation or it was void. The HVAC guy had told me this like 3 times before he left on the day the HVAC was installed. And of course, I had forgotten. I ran to my office to find the HVAC warranty paperwork. Fortunately, there was a phone number and I was able to reach someone. I had no idea how close I was to the 90 day limit and my head just simply couldn’t do the math at all. Turns out I was able to register the HVAC warranty with 10 days to spare.

HVAC warranty has to be registered so don’t forget!
