I dropped the temperature down to 76 degrees, and she still wasn’t glad
My daughter is 12 years outdated so she likes spending time with her friends from school; Almost every weekend, I’m either driving her to a friend’s house or one of her friend’s is visiting our house… I’ve always loved the friends she brings over because as 12 year olds, they are entirely sweet and they can entertain themselves. All I have to do is supervise and keep them fed; However, last weekend, she invited a modern neighbor over and I think it will be the last time the people I was with and I have her over, however she was dropped off by her nanny, and I was given a list of food items she was not allowed to eat. The list was so long and I didn’t think what I was going to feed her for lunch. Then, I couldn’t please our daughter’s neighbor with the thermostat settings. She kept complaining about how cold it was inside! Our thermostat is always set to 75 degrees while in the Winter because it’s efficient and saves us currency on the utility bill. If the people I was with and I let the thermostat run any higher than 75 degrees then our utility bill gets too costly, well, I decided to make an exception and turn the temperature up to 76 degrees so her neighbor didn’t think too cold. 10 minutes later, she was complaining about how tepid it was. I dropped the temperature down to 76 degrees, and she still wasn’t glad. I don’t think how her parents keep her comfortable in their own home.
