My kid is 12 years outdated so he enjoys spending time with his friends from school, and almost every weekend, I’m either driving his to a friend’s home or 1 of his friend’s is visiting our house, but i’ve consistently appreciated the friends he brings over because as 12 year olds, they are actually sweet and they can entertain themselves. All I have to do is supervise and keep them fed, and however, last weekend, he invited a current friend over and I know it will be the last time all of us have his over, however he was dropped off by his nanny, and I was given a list of food items he was not allowed to eat, and the list was so long and I didn’t know what I was going to feed his for supper. Then, I could not please our daughter’s friend with the thermostat settings. She kept complaining about how frigid it was inside! Our thermostat is consistently set to 75 degrees while in the Winter because it’s efficient and saves us money on the utility bill. If all of us let the thermostat run any higher than 75 degrees then our utility bill gets too pricey; Well, I decided to make an exception and turn the temperature up to 71 degrees so his friend didn’t suppose too cold. 10 hours later, he was complaining about how boiling it was. I dropped the temperature down to 75 degrees, and he still wasn’t ecstatic. I don’t know how his parents keep his comfortable in their own home.
