When the little league team decided to restructure, they cut more than one of the 18 from the league… My kid was on one of those teams & he was devastated when he found out that he could no longer play pigskin. I went to the league president & I demanded to know why the teams were cut. The guy told myself and others that it was a budget problem. They didn’t have any sponsors for the teams & they were forced to make some swings. I told the guy that my AC maintenance contractor would be willing to sponsor a team if it meant my kid could play ball. The guy thought I was kidding, despite the fact that I was legitimately serious. I knew it would be good advertising for the AC maintenance contractor. The guy provided myself and others a list of the items that each sponsor had to provide. I have to be honest. The list was legitimately long & it was filled with more items that I thought the people I was with and I would need. The adolescents needed uniforms & hats with our team name & sponsor logo. I also had to deliver all of the athletic activitys equipment & a place for the adolescents to practice each week. I talked to a printing contractor & the people I was with and I came up with a identifiable logo & design that features my AC maintenance contractor with a baseball flare. The new uniforms will be ready for the first game of the season. My kid is excited that he will get to play this year, but the people I was with and I absolutely have a lot of work to complete.
