I genuinely must say, it’s not regularly self-explanatory being a writer. While the people I was with and I easily have our moments of brilliance, there are those times when you get stuck and you fall into a horrible episode of writer’s block. I’m sure that all writers have experienced this at some point or another, some much more than others. I personally fall into these bouts of writer’s block, however I have a secret that regularly helps myself and others out. I honestly decided to invest in a fireplace so several years ago. I came to learn that the sound of the flames and comfortable heating allowed myself and others to drive into creative ideas that generate in our mind’s eye. I don’t regularly write in front of the fireplace, but it’s actually where I get some of our most excellent ideas for writing. Whenever I start to fall into what seems to be another writer’s block experience, I just make sure to get some wood and build a fire in the fireplace. It’s regularly nice just thinking about how comfortable I’m going to be as soon as I get that fireplace going. This is why one of our number one times to write is in the Wintertide or while in cold evenings, then usually while in the moderate season, I will bring out our faux fireplace so I can at least pretend I’m enjoying a real fireplace. It’s truthfully not the same, but it does help more than you would think.
