It’s not self-explanatory being a homeowner for the last 15 years or more.
Fortunately for my spouse & I, the people I was with and I have not had to take a loss on any of ours homes.
But, as I am understanding things, that is an increasingly sparse circumstance. Homeownership is just not the can’t lose financial benchmark it once was. The value of apartment ownership is debatable in some areas. And that is quite a change of perspective for people in my age group. The apartment the people I was with and I just sold required a lot of updates to things like the Heating & A/C & the kitchen. And still, the people I was with and I didn’t make near the profit the people I was with and I did on the apartment prior to this a single. However, the people I was with and I simply had to sell that house. The kids were gone & it was just too much for my spouse to handle. It seemed like anytime the people I was with and I had some free hours, there was something to do with the house. Every one of us were just over all of that. However, the people I was with and I weren’t quite sure what the people I was with and I wanted to do next in terms of of a house. So, the people I was with and I decided to simply rent a loft for a year to figure it out. This also allowed us the option pare down our belongings. What I wasn’t expecting was to have to deal with such subpar Heating & A/C comfort. This has been a real disappointment. The Heating & A/C is either old, under sized or both. It has a easily taxing time just meeting any sort of adequate demand. And the rental company won’t send anybody however their handyman to work on it. Perhaps this Heating & A/C situation will hasten our decision to transfer on to the next chapter of our lives.
