Occasionally it takes myself and others a bit of motivation & effort just to get myself up to the attic or down to the basement.
It isn’t simply because I am lazy.
Actually, I’m ashamed to admit that I am simply scared of both locales. How stupid is that? I have carried a childhood fear for all of these years now. The attic scares myself and others because of all that insulation & the fact there isn’t any Heating & A/C up there. Going from the comfort of my Heating & A/C worked on living area to the attic can be quite a shock in Wintertide & summer. The basement is creepy just on it’s own without any Heating & A/C consideration. A trip to the attic to get the holiday decorations set off a bit of an Heating & A/C panic for me. I was sorting the boxes in the attic when I spotted something strange near a single of the Heating & A/C air ducts. Upon closer inspection, it was apparent that what I was seeing was a mouse nest. I ran downstairs to call the exterminator. He came out & tested the situation however informed myself and others the mice made there apartment in the air duct as well. This led to another panicked call, this time to the Heating & A/C people. They calmed myself and others down & gave myself and others the number of an Heating & A/C duct cleaning crew. Thankfully, these fantastic people were able to get out the certainly next day. I was stunned by the amount of stuff that came from the Heating & A/C air ducts. However, maybe that’s as it should be given that this was the first time those air ducts had ever been cleaned.
